Emilia Romagna Dinner Series News

We are so thankful to our partners and guests who joined us in supporting farmers affected by tragic flooding in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region. Our dinner as part of the series organized by Chicago Chefs Cook was last Thursday, June 8, and it was a huge success. We are thrilled to share that we had hoped to sell 30 tickets and instead had 50 guests attend our beautiful dinner!

This dinner series raised money for the Emilia Romagna region in partnership with the fundraising efforts of the National Italian American Foundation who have been wonderful partners in this! 💪🏼✨

Heartfelt thanks to Chef Sarah Stegner and  Chef Genie Kwon for collaborating with us and joining us both at dinner and in our kitchen – we are honored to have welcomed you into our home! Thank you so much.

Stay tuned and be sure to follow  Chicago Chefs Cook who have now raised over $1,000,000 to benefit those in need. In this case, funds are being directed to support the farmers of this beloved region who have lost so much. There are close to one million wheels of Parmigiano ruined by the flooding. Hundreds of thousands of animals drowned, and trees are rotted to the root. This flooding will take years to recover from. We need to do what we can, and we are proud to be part of this effort.
