We were thrilled to welcome Andre De Shields in to dine with us!
Tony Award winner Andre De Shields returned “home” to Chicago and was presented with the Sarah Siddons Society Actor of The Year Award for 2021 on Monday, October 25th. Following the event a small group including Mr. De Shields, Lia Chang, Carl Stimson, Allen Gilmore, Denise McGowan and Ed Tracy hosted by Siddons Board President Marty Balogh dined at G&G. It was a first for Mr. De Shields but following the warm welcome and great dining experience – he especially loved the Garbage Salad singing its praises citing its fresh ingredients and saying he could have easily had a second one – he assured the G&G team that he would return on future visits.
