Chicago Splash: Gene & Georgetti’s Anniversary Party

More than 500 friends, family and staff of the classic steakhouse raised their glasses for its 75th birthday Oct. 16. The bash — held at the Rosemont location (9421 W. Higgins) — included a commemorative video presentation from the staff of the Chicago and Rosemont locations, and performances by singer Tina J. Crawley. Throughout the evening, guests noshed on bites by Chef Luis Quiroz like Tuscan ratatouille tarts and polenta cakes with shrimp ragout and, later, the Becca Kaufman Orchestra performed a special rendition of Bob Hope’s “Thanks for the Memory.”
