This collaboration aligns with our commitment to making a lasting impact by supporting sustainable water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health education initiatives in communities that need them most.
Addressing the Global Water Crisis
Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet 2 billion people worldwide still lack safe drinking water. The consequences of poor sanitation and limited access to clean water are devastating, with over 1 million people losing their lives each year due to water-related illnesses. The global water crisis is urgent, and action is needed now more than ever.
Through our partnership with Surge for Water, we are taking tangible steps to improve lives by supporting impactful, sustainable, and community-driven solutions. Our collaboration, which began in 2022, is part of our ongoing effort to invest in initiatives that create meaningful change and help break the cycle of poverty.
Our Partnership with Surge for Water
Since 2022, Gene & Georgetti has been honored to support Surge for Water’s mission through various initiatives:
• Well Rehabilitation in Uganda: We funded the rehabilitation of two wells in Uganda, restoring access to clean water for over 1,600 people.
• Menstrual Health Programs: Our support extended to menstrual health education, impacting 143 girls in Indonesia and 58 women and girls in Uganda.
• World Water Day 2025 Collaboration: This year, we continue our collaboration with Surge for Water, supporting sustainable water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health education initiatives in communities that need them most.
