Chicago’s historic Field Museum set the stage for this year’s Grand Chefs Experience by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). On Saturday, April 23rd, members from both our Gene & Georgetti and Michelle Durpetti Events’ teams were in attendance and it was nothing short of incredible. We were joined by nearly 30 other restaurants to support such an amazing cause! Our neighboring tables were held by friends from Supreme Lobster, Breakthru Beverage and ECBG, all helping support CFF.

“The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care.”

We started the night by serving hundreds of guests our new fav, Casoncelli alla Bergamasca. It’s safe to say that people were loving this sample, we are always happy to have repeat visitors to our tables at these events 🙂

Following the tasting, our team was welcomed to the main floor where we were seated near Máximo, the 28 ft tall Titanosaur, and 2 African Elephants! The tablescapes were beautifully designed but the focus was absolutely on raising money to find a cure for CF. We are humbled by the opportunity to be able to support this great cause and are thankful to the foundation for their ongoing research efforts and all that they do. We invite you to learn more about CFF on their website here.
