GENE & GEORGETTI JOINS IN CELEBRATING THE BIGGEST DINING EVENT OF THE YEAR

Gene & Georgetti, Chicago’s original steakhouse since 1941, is once again participating in Choose Chicago’s Chicago Restaurant Week, with two prix fixe menus available for lunch and dinner January 25 through February 12 in both locations, Downtown at 500 N. Franklin, and in Rosemont at 9421 W. Higgins Rd. (Both locations are closed Sundays.)

Please note: The Chicago Restaurant Week menu is designed for each guest to enjoy individually. There are no substitutions to the prix fixe menus. Regular restaurant menu items will be available as well. Beverages, tax and gratuity are not included.

THREE-COURSE PRIX FIXE LUNCH MENU, $24

Lunch features a first course choice of:

Garbage Salad
Gene & Georgetti’s signature salad includes Iceberg Lettuce, Volpe Salami, grated Parmesan, Celery, Black Olives, Radish, Pimiento, Tomatoes, and Red Onions tossed in their famous Italian Vinaigrette.

Beet & Orange Salad
A seasonal favorite, roasted Beets and Oranges tossed with Red Onion, Radish, and fresh Goat Cheese, served on a bed of Bibb Lettuce in a Citrus Vinaigrette.

Soup of the Day

The second course options are:

Chicken Milanese
Topped with Arugula, Cherry Tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan Cheese, served with sautéed Rapini and a side of herb-roasted Fingerling Potatoes.

Short Rib Sandwich
Topped with melted Fontina Cheese, served on a Pretzel Bun with a side of Gene’s favorite Cole Slaw.

Alaskan Cod Livornese
With roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives and Capers in a Tuscan Livornese Sauce, served with sautéed Rapini and a side of herb-roasted Fingerling Potatoes.

For dessert, enjoy a choice of one of our Gene & Georgetti favorites:

Dinner starts with a first course choice of:

Arancini with Marinara
A house-made specialty, Arancini stuffed with Risotto, Gene’s Italian Sausage, Sun-dried Tomatoes, and Provolone, baked in Marinara Sauce.

Caprese Salad
Fresh Mozzarella stacked high on thick-cut Tomato slices, topped with fresh Basil and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt.

The second course follows with:

Butternut Squash Ravioli
Served in a Brown-butter Sage Sauce and topped with Romano.

Blackened Atlantic Salmon
With sautéed Rapini, herb-roasted Fingerling Potatoes, and a side of Hollandaise.

Chicken Toscana
With shaved Prosciutto, Fontina, and signature white wine Mushroom Sauce, served with sautéed Rapini and herb-roasted Fingerling Potatoes.

Tuscan Style Braised Bone-in Short Ribs
With creamy Polenta and sautéed Rapini.
