This year, over 50 chefs gathered at The Field Museum for the annual Grand Chefs Experience with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Greater Illinois Chapter. The foundation’s mission is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and provide those living with the disease with the opportunity to lead full lives. Their unwavering commitment to finding a cure and helping those with CF is what makes us so proud to work with them.

Each year the community comes together to support this fantastic organization and Gene & Georgetti serves as a proud supporter and donor both at the 2018 Grand Chefs Experience event and throughout the year. Members of our Gene & Georgetti Rosemont team, including head Chef Luis Quiroz, invited guests to sample our bit sized Pork & Apples – a delicious combination of pork belly, apple marmalade, radish, and microgreens.

Philanthropy, live music, fabulous food, and beautiful decor brought many people together for the evening including our Turnkey Hospitality family. Michelle Durpetti, the 3rd generation in the Gene and Georgetti line, and her father Tony were honored to represent the Turnkey Hospitality family as they presented the Chicago Classic Award and accepted the People’s Choice Award on behalf of Gene and Georgetti. We could not be more honored to have accepted the award amongst our respected peers! We are thrilled to continue our work with this amazing organization, thank you to Soda Fountain Photography for capturing such a memorable evening!
