2016 marks our 75th anniversary and we could not be more excited. As part of our celebration, we will be featuring two employees a week beginning August 19th, thru our anniversary party on October 16th. One fun fact people may not know about you?
Ever since I was 10 years old, I loved to play volleyball. I’m also a loss Prevention Associate for Sears. I get to stop shoplifters, which is a great adrenaline shot. I have all sorts of fun and interesting stories I could tell.
Our team at Gene & Georgetti represents Family. Tell us about your own family, and what does family mean to you?
My family isn’t too big, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s my mom, dad and two sisters. Because of them, I am who I am today. Since a young age, my dad instilled in me the value of work and how important it is to have value behind your word. My mom was the discipline and also caring hand for everyone. She makes the home a home. My two sisters, well you know how siblings are. To me, they are where I can go at the end of the day and feel just right.
What’s one memory, at Gene & Georgetti or outside of it, that you treasure most?
One memory I treasure is when Steve reached out to me to help out with one of the outside events, which I recall was a bank party. It made me feel like I was trusted and knew what I was doing or else I wouldn’t have been brought in to help the event. That is how I also started with Gene & Georgetti.
