About Gene & Georgetti Rosemont
Gene & Georgetti is Chicago’s first and finest steakhouse for 75 years. Opened in summer 2015, Rosemont marks the first expansion for the family owned and operated business, maintaining the tradition, consistency, and reputation for quality that has defined Gene & Georgetti since 1941.
The menu by Executive Chef Luis Quiroz features prime steaks and Italian fare with a world-class wine list. In addition to the main dining room, three private dining rooms hold groups from 10 – 125 people. The Bar at Gene & Georgetti Rosemont features lounge and traditional seating, including an outdoor patio, and features a lighter fare menu and signature cocktails. The Estate by Gene & Georgetti is the adjacent private events and wedding venue, elegantly designed by Erin McDonald.
The team behind the Rosemont expansion includes proprietors Marion and Tony Durpetti, and Managing Partner Richard Ciota. Tony and Marion’s daughter, Michelle Durpetti brings her expertise of private, corporate and wedding planning and production to her role as Managing Partner and marketing and special events manager. Both Ciota and Durpetti are proud to represent the third generation, inspired by founder Gene Michelotti; great uncle to Ciota and grandfather to Durpetti.
