Gene & Georgetti, one of Chicago’s most iconic steakhouses, celebrates its 75th anniversary this weekend with a special menu, available now through Saturday.

For $75 per couple, diners can choose two appetizers (bacon-wrapped scallops, fried ravioli, Italian sausage and peppers, roasted beet with goat cheese or the signature Garbage Salad), two entrees (eggplant parmigiana, braised short rib or bucatini carbonara), two side plates and two desserts. Individual diners can pay $39 for one app, one entree, one side and one dessert. In both cases, the anniversary price excludes tax and gratuity.

Reservations are required, and the dress code is business casual, though the restaurant anticipates many regulars will show up in cocktail party attire, says a spokesperson.

The anniversary menu is available at lunch and dinner at both Gene & Georgetti locations. At the downtown location, it’s the only dinner menu available until service goes back to normal Monday. Both locations are closed Sundays.

All proceeds from the anniversary menu will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
