2016 marks our 75th anniversary and we could not be more excited. One fun fact people may not know about you?
I was born next door to Gene & Georgetti and when I was 6 or 7 years old, I used to open the door for people to make tips. This Italian guy with a white shirt, tie and apron would always chase me away. That was Gene and he became my father-in-law!
Our team at G&G is family…tell us about your family and what does family mean to you?
My wife Marion is the daughter of Gene & Ida Michelotti, the co-founders of Gene & Georgetti. We were always close and obviously spent a lot of time in the restaurant. Gene was like a second father to me.
What’s one upcoming celebration you look forward to?
The 75th anniversary celebration of Gene & Georgetti and the fact that we have been involved in the business that long! We are the second generation and now the third generation is involved, with my daughter Michelle and cousin Rich.
